Battlefield 3 Sells Five Million Units In It's First Week!

Last week during an investor phone call, EA's CEO revealed that EA had shipped ten million units of Battlefield 3. Now in EA's latest press release, the company reveals that according to internal estimates, they have sold five million units in the first week. The largest game launch in the company's history.
While the number didn't shatter Black Ops or MW2's first day records, it still has made quite the impression on the gaming community. The Battlefield 3 community has racked up some interesting statistics since the game's launch:
