Flashlights Finally Getting Adjusted

Since the beta came out in October, one of the most notable complaints from gamers involved Battlefield 3's flashlights. They felt overpowered and equivalent to the ingame sun. But Alan Kertz of DICE has provided the community with two screenshots comparing the flashlight we know today with the new version. No release date has been revealed for the flashlight, but the change is easily noticeable:
