Battlefield 3's launch was smooth in most regards with only a few network hick-ups causing gameplay issues. There have been some control and balance issues that have been brought up by the community will also be addressed. Here's a list of issues addressed in the next Battlefield 3 patch:

• Flashlights will be more life-like and won't blind players at distances.
  
• Reported input lag for console controllers
  
• Mobile AA (LAV-D/Tunguska) may be nerfed
  
• Improvements in the ability to land a jet for repair purposes (maybe we'll get reverse too)
  
• The SCAR-H rifle (engineer unlock) is rumored to be nerfed
