The command rose was one of the most sought after features by PC players and did make the launch date in October. It did receive a few aesthetic and practical adjustments during the most recent patch, but will be getting overhauled to v2.0 in February. (February is when we expect to receive the next BF3 patch.)
PS3 players may be bugged about the VoIP issues, but all players have been subject to "Bad Luck." Jump over a ledge, land somewhere at a funny angle, and the game will kill you for no apparent reason. Leaving you with "Bad Luck" as the reason you were killed. This annoying Battlefield 3 issue will be fixed.
More weapon adjustments are also on the possibility list. The adjustments deal with attachments more than actual weapons. The foregrip for example, all weapons could see a standard horizontal recoil value when the foregrip is attached. Other attachments that could be adjusted include: bipod, suppressor, heavy barrel, flash suppressor, and target pointer.

The Heavy Barrel is for players who are focused on Accurate Aimed fire. It uses high velocity rounds, which means the bullet drop is reduced and the max range of the weapon is increased at the cost of an increase in auto fire dispersion. The Heavy Barrel adds bulk to a weapon due to its weight, making firing from the hip more difficult, though it gives a substantial increase in aimed accuracy bonus.
- +Increased maximum range, damage stays the same.
- -25% increased dispersion per shot
- +50% bonus to base accuracy when aimed
- -25% penalty to base accuracy from the hip
The Javelin might see some undeserved nerfing too, we hope the developers will steer away from this idea though. On the opposite side of the nerf spectrum are more features to increase Battlefield 3's feel. The voices of the game will probably have more variety:

There's also been some new features being hinted at, a treat for us gamers. No information on what that will be yet.
So when are all these Battlefield 3 fixes and adjustments coming online? We are expecting to see this patch in February. Given the fact that DICE voice over producer, Tomas Danko stated that the next version of the command rose will come out in February. Gamers have been feeling left in the dark on many issues, but many are getting fixed! So all the community needs is a little patience until we hear some more information about the next patch for Battlefield 3.
