NDP Group, a US based firm that deals with financial statistics revealed that Battlefield 3 was the top selling game in the US for the month of October. EA reported that Battlefield 3 had sold five million units worldwide in it's first week. Battlefield 3's figures are still far behind it's competitors, but the gap is still closing between the two games. There's even proof of the gap being closed. Eurogamer reports that MW3's sales are under two million in the UK - a 1.6% drop from Black Ops' sales last year. Battlefield 3's first piece of DLC "Back to Karkand" is due out next month, so that will also help to boost BF3's quickly growing player count.» Open full story in newsreader
